These RI PowerPoint lessons are designed to assist CRI visitors
to save preparation time and bulky items, before going to school.
They appear under pages A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2 and cover one semester for each page.
The One PowerPoint covers Infant, Lower Primary, Upper Primary
because the stories are the same for all lessons.
It is the way you tell the story that makes it age related.
We have been emailing these lessons to GC CRI visitors to download onto USB memory sticks for some time.
However, there is a growing need for a place where CRI visitors could download them,
independently, at any time, which is a much better option.
They are password restricted, to give them the same privacy as emails
and to protect the copy-write of CEP.
CRI visitors will need to run the PP at home and familiarize yourselves with the graphics and animations. They are to assist and attract the students attention, not tell the story, that's your privilege.
There is no distinction, at the present time, between Infant, Lower Primary or Upper Primary PowerPoints.
It is in the way you tell the story and language used in each class that makes the distinction.
The story is the same for all three 'Connect' activity books, Infants, Lower Primary and Upper Primary.
Not everything is in the PP presentation, you may need to elaborate some details, but try and do so while the relevant picture is on the screen. Try not tell stories which have no relevance to the picture on screen, as it tends to confuse the students.
There is a vast amount of information in the front section of the Connect Teachers manual and also in the back pages as well, in regard to the most effective way children learn. It is good to familiarize yourself with this excellent material.
Reading the lesson aims and outcomes from the same manual will greatly assist in giving the lessons purpose and direction.
Creating happiness and joy in the classrooms, often aids learning and retention.
